I see no reason not to use it if infuriate is up. That's like...the whole point of infuriate.

no infuriate are there to get 5 stacks form start on a boss fightnot to regain it under a fight that is just good for us, if they made it to to regain the stacks after we used it they would make it a 20 sec cd and way OP
I've yet to see a single boss that does anything truly dangerous for the first 15-20 seconds of a fight. You've got more than enough time to build up to 5 Wrath stacks before you need to use Inner Beast>Infuriate. Burning Infuriate on the run in would be like burning a potion on the very first hit: it's really not appropriate because your not actually pressured at that point.
Boss fights last longer than 1 minute :P
Infuriate will come back up.

Just wanted to get some input from other warriors (and maybe healers), this isnt a warriors are shit or a pld vs warrior thread just looking for opinion.
Do you sit on your 5 stacks of wrath for the extra healing and use inner beast when needed, like after a big hit?
Or
Do you use it frequently to try keep yourself topped up and help the healers because the healing buff isnt all that great anyway?
What do you do? what do healers prefer? is it noticeable to you and your healers?
I have gone down the path of using Inner Beast as cooldown combined with Infuriate. When I know I am going to take a big hit or the healers are distracted and I see a dip in my health, I use Inner Beast then infuriate to both heal then replenish my wrath stacks. Generally that will allow enough time for a healer to notice the dip then cast a heal. Warth stacks are both aggro and EH, so the longer you are not at 5 stacks the longer you are not truly a warrior tank.
Im sorry i should have been more specific, i was aiming the questing more towards people doing coil/titan hm. you could argue numbers i guess but i'd rather a 2k heal when im on the verge of death than a 10k heal when im sitting pretty.
If you are questing dont use defiance unless you got multiple mobs or tanking a fate boss. Otherwise use it to offset huge bursts. Like right after a hard hitting attack. Like irritating double breaths and Garuda cleave. Especially during add phase on Garuda, it's the only wAy a war is viable.
I only use Inner Beast if it's needed or it's buffed with a DPS buff. My healers prefer it when I am holding Wrath V because it gives them more stability and predictability.Just wanted to get some input from other warriors (and maybe healers), this isnt a warriors are shit or a pld vs warrior thread just looking for opinion.

Best use of Inner Beast is to use it in your rotation but like this. Use Inner Beast for the big hits or when the healer needs to raise or heal someone else and then infuriate to regain stacks if available immediately afterwards. If not then use the +20% to healing skill and build the stack back up manually and there you go. You never actually lose the healing buff but still don't just hold onto a skill to never use it. Also other alternative rotations would be bloodbath and the +def % skill, or bloodbath and thrill of battle skill.Just wanted to get some input from other warriors (and maybe healers), this isnt a warriors are shit or a pld vs warrior thread just looking for opinion.

Most warriors tank incorrectly which is why people think they suck. While pld the healer burst heals because of the high mitigation and the warrior needs constant medium heals and should not freak out and burn all his/her skills for one "big hit." Meaning spread your CD's out and you will notice you are more survivable. Warrior is the thinking man's paladin. ~.^
