As title suggests,

I called technical support for FFXIV and the guy who answered was very nice, but he acted as if Latency was TOTALLY unheard of on FFXIV, and he even tried to tell me I needed to upgrade my Nvida 560 TI.

Please put real tickets in for this, SE is dropping the ball on us and sweeping this under a rug.
