The im quitting because of X reason threads

Personally I just stopped playing a few days ago kinda lurk around the forums because I'm not playing anything else atm waiting for gta v release tonight.

I ask you, in all honesty, have you actually ever played any other MMOs at launch? Seriously?

This is why blazing a trail to the end on a new MMO is a waste of time and foolish. It sucks for the 1.0 people who were pretty much already there, but for any one who took up ARR on release, you should be taking your time. That is what the developer expects. Hell before RoZ on FFXI, there was effectively no end game, and look at it now, one of the most immerse and diversified end games around.

This is one of my first mmo's and I love it, I am doing I guess what the developer planned upon... Taking it slow doing side quests and enjoying the game... You know that whole reason we got the game in the first place... Too enjoy

This is also a relaunch 1 dungeon to farm isn't exactly game breaking stuff here, its just boring for me I'm sorry I played the game wrong and rushed, but the grind is just not my cup of tea hell make me slay monsters for 100 hours in order to get enough rep in order to buy xyz, I also played all the other classes during beta so I knew which class I wanted to play at launch and not really interested in playing other jobs atm. I have a crafting profession to 50 also so gave that a try as well.

As far as other mmo's I have played at launch Rift, SWTOR, The Secret World(loved the nightmare mode dungeons and the trials people had to complete before you could enter also the 75-75-75m PvP was fun) GW2 I'm sure I'm forgetting some others I've played at launch. But like I said I don't hate the game it's just not something that could keep me entertained for 8-12 hours a day over a long period of time.

I had to go on a business trip for bit less than 2 weeks
before I left, everybody was raging all the time and saying they will quit, asking refunds, threatening SE...
and now I am back and the worlds are still full sometimes, so i guess people did not quit, did they?

Also just because the game doesn't have aqueduct dungeons isn't the only lack of end game. Their is also things such as PvP, rep grinding, working towards mounts pets titles anything really that is a huge time sink and players can show of the efforts of their work are things players do in other mmo's at lvl cap. But right now there is lvling alts and professions, hell they could even have had vanity slots where those a lone could have had huge amounts of grinds in order to get full sets of different types of outfits.

I also didn't really rush to 50 I did all the quests until I ran out of them and then finished off to 50 grinding fates. It's just that I put in 16+ hours a day during the first week like most people who got to 50 relatively fast because they enjoyed the game. It also took me about 2-3 time longer to grind out all my darklight gear than it did to level in the first place.

You won't. Otherwise you wouldn't be here in the forums making threads about you leaving you would just quietly fade away.

So my question to those that feel they need to announce to the world they are quitting is - Are you trying to convince us? Or Trying to convince yourself? either way seems your failing on both points.
( thread not to be taken seriously by anyone with real issues with the game i.e account hacked etc. this is for stupid issues like people rushing through content then getting mad because they have "nothing" to do etc)

I usually leave a quitting thread when I leave an MMO. But, I guess feedback isn't a thing here.

Thats not feedback, thats trying to convince yourself and or others to leave with you so you wont feel left out. simple as that you guys can try to sugar coat it all you want but in the end the truth is you dont want to look like a fool quitting a game you obviously like just because you feel entitled to have something you dont.
