Dungeons & Quests Gear Distribution

I've realized that the majority of Treasure Coffers and rewards give out DoW gear and rarely give DoM.

Nearly all story quests follow the pattern of DoW weapons -> DoM weapons ->DoW gear -> DoW gear -> DoW gear -> DoM gear and start the cycle over again

In terms of coffers in Dungeons and Leves, it's the same problem where it is tilted in about a 70% to 30% favor for DoWs. This can be proved in almost every dungeon. If one were to go into one now 7 times out of 10 you will see more DoW gear than DoM.

Seeing as how there are less Tanks than Healers and DoM DPS I'm not sure why it is tilted this way. I know you can hit greed in Dungeon's but seeing as how I currently have no interest in playing as a DoW and retail space in the inventory and armoury is limited that's not an option for me.

I just want to know if anyone has noticed this problem and if anything is being done to tilt the scale so it is somewhat even.

Look at the percentages of the class types and you'll have your explanation for this.

Also, I'd argue with your characterization of the quest rewards, seeing as I've been able to maintain a full set of tank, physical dps, and caster gear pretty much entirely from quest rewards.

I've noticed this too. I ran Sunken Temple of Qarn a good dozen times as my WAR. EVERY run i did had a whole bunch of GLD/PLD gear drop and the only thing I got out of it was once I got the Bardache at the end of the dungeon. Was I missing something out of that dungeon? Do certain chests always drop the same gear? I really feels like it.

I think It would be nice if they made it so the drops would lean towards the classes/jobs that are doing that dungeon at that level. If a group of people over the level cap start doing it, then it can be more random as they might want to gear up a lower class.
