See you got the right idea they say tanks are the low end of the populous but we are also very important especially in DF meaning we pretty much have final say and if they dont like it to bad
So by speed running makes me a bad guy? SE put into a system in which CM is the fastest possible way to get philo tomes, and guess what we have to run it 50+ times to get full darklight. I am not going to take my time and hand feed every fresh 50 the instance. I run with 1 other tank 1 healer and 1 dps. We can clear the dungeon as a 4 man if needed. However we are not going to sit and wait on the 1 or 2 fresh 50's to watch the cut scenes.
Although I do have a macro "Welcome To My Speed Run" that pretty much tells them to keep up, skip cut scenes, and shoot cannons when I say to. And besides that all boss's are tank and spank with adds. And another sentence about being a ninja and not pulling adds.
I agree rudeness to other players is not right but its not their fault or yours. Its the system Square built.
Think how frustrating it is to have to teach new players over and over how to do a dungeon when your farming it. It gets old real fast.
What Square should of done is try to either have the Duty finder group all new players together, OR offer double the prize for completing the dungeon to everyone if a new player to the dungeon is present to give incentive to help them through.
I find it odd as well that a dungeon your meant to farm over and over has so many cutscenes and interruptions in it, and seems like it was made to be played once.
I dont agree with how you were treated but I understand their frustration. Like I said having to teach new players over and over gets old.
I've done a ton of CM runs, I have no problem with people watching the cutscenes and/or
learning the dungeon for their first time. People need to chill out.
that is fine man. But if I am new to the place and you are not there. Guess what i am going to get some asshat telling me that I am a noob and i should stop playing. Guess what not going to happenSo by speed running makes me a bad guy? As I stated in my first post, I do not rage, argue, insult, or treat the fresh 50's badly. I will just keep pulling and going through the dungeon, as I stated earlier CM can be run by 4 people that know what to do. I don't need the fresh 50's to help. They can sit in their cut scenes and it doesn't bother me. It only bothers me that they rage the entire time that they are left behind and locked out of fights.
And I agree no one should be treating you badly. And I don't treat anyone badly. Even if you manage to screw up and pull agro before I can hit a boss, I will just LOL and let the boss face check you as my healer in skype with me refuses to heal you while I /dance.
Anyways its not hard to not be a "noob" in CM just stay with the group and get on cannons when everyone else does. As a DPS you can really just follow the pack like in every other dungeon and you will do fine. Don't stand in bad stuff and perform your dps rotation.
The only person in the group that has to know how to speed run it is the Main Tank. Since he has to make certain pulls to certain locations for the speed run to be a "speed run"

I whine and complain at people watching the cutscenes.
I'll say this though, if you REALLY want to watch them, and can deal with the smack talk, just watch them. People like me are gonna tell you to skip them, but we really can't tell you what to do, can we?
You...sound like you never use cross server dungeon finder before.
Case in point, you're absolutely jerkish to shift blame on anything but your own.
Duty finder, aka dungeon finder, is a place of "last resort". Such that things like the lowest common denominator must be factored in.
People are going to go afk, people are going to drop, people are going to be drunk, to be new, to be vet, to be high off their rockers, and every possible scenerio that can happen when you put a bunch of completely random people together.
Roll with the punches and give leeway, by not doing that, you're simply trying to deny the reality of the situation, aka jerk.
