Monks very weak. Need rebalance

If you get targeted with Gaol, plumes, and landslide is 100% random. All three will change your dps and if there are other melee with you it is likely to have a larger effect. Bomb placement is also random which is the difference between hitting titan titan the entire time or being forced to move away from him several times.

How anyone doesn't see that as being random is beyond me.

unless plumes surround titan fully you can find a hole and keep going. if you have a pretty varied party its rare plums will surround him. landslide is easy to dodge and keep going. only getting jailed twice hurts a lot if you have a party that forgets to esuna or leeches

There is of course a nice dose of RNG in there, as one can say with a lot of content. The RNG isn't that crazy though as pointed out by Easymode and Cynric. The only thing that you mention that is entirely detrimental to your DPS are the Gaols. Landslide is a joke to sidestep and keep going at full optimal play ( at most it will lead to one mispositioned skill depending on how he turns ) and plumes are easy to avoid either by finding a section on his outer ring that isn't covered or running in to him.

It's evident in how consistent DPS results can be from Titan instances. There are obviously better measures of DPS/performance but Titan isn't that inaccurate for insight.

Another gear boy, check page 66. 761 single Dmg parser record, clearly you don't know which skill give MNK max Dmg.

I am aware of the 761 dmg hit however that was done with full blown determination gear. Big difference ignoring everything but determination and actually being able to do coil due to being geared correctly so no it does not reflect and actual correct gear for coil parse. You really need to learn to argue better and present real world factual data instead of saying oh shit 1 guy hit once for 761 so that must be the norm crap.

I was not trying to present anything . that is just a common gardua fight result. the link Just shows people that parser gave some misleading DPS result if we didn't read it carefully. That's. When you say you can't get 750+ single Dmg, I just tell you that's not truth. The only argument here is if MNK is DPS king. My conclusion is MNK not close to DPS king. For aoe MNK isn't, for single Dmg it depends on time and mechanic. For later pvp , MNK will get owned.

For AoE, nobody is calling MNK the best. Nobody is saying MNK is the DPS king. We're saying MNK is the best single target DPS for an extended battle. Get that in your skull... holy crap lol. Nobody has even said the words "DPS King" as much as you.

For single damage, like I said in any extended battle MNK will put out on top given optimal play and equivalent gear. The job simply has the highest DPS ceiling. That's it. That's currently a fact. Tested. The ONLY job that may turn out to be better or equal is SMN, and that is simply because SMN hasn't been thoroughly tested for DPS ceiling due to the nature of how difficult it is to test that (inability to parse DoTs and variables associated with pet). MNK has a short wind-up which puts burst oriented jobs like BLM, DRG and BRD ahead at first but they quickly fall behind.

For PvP you don't know shit. I don't know shit. Nobody knows how any job will perform in PvP because nobody knows what the PvP skills are. Therefore that is an empty guess.

There's monks that do higher dps than me and it can all be about gear or even food which makes the difference.
