Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but change Aotd to act like SMN's Bane skill where it spreads our ToD and Demolish

People keep talking about this worlds best DD doing 400-500DPS and there is no possible way to do that much DPS no matter what class you are. Aside from doing L3 LB which greatly alter's your DPS and shouldn't be counted. Outside of LB's and AOE there is no one doing 400-500dps single target. I can do right about 240-250dps as a MNK on last boss of AK just standing there burning away. I have 3peice Myth gear Relic+1 allagan ring rest is DL/Gryphonskin so my gear is pretty good. I would really like to know where people are pulling these number's from cause they simply will not exist in a normal single target fight.

You are overvaluing the monks silence, for all intents and purposes they have a "Small Interrupt toolkit(Stun)". A monk can not reliably silence an enemy nor can it count on shoulder tackle to stun. Also they do not have decent burst, other then Mercy Stroke a Monks hardest ability hits at 180 potency.
The best thing I've found to go off of when people are trying to quote other players or their own DPS in an mmo is "Screenshots or it didn't happen." Not to say DPS aren't hitting higher numbers than you're quoting, but typically quotes of insane numbers come from insane people.People keep talking about this worlds best DD doing 400-500DPS and there is no possible way to do that much DPS no matter what class you are. You can Silence interrupt anything that needs it. And Solo Interrupt ADS with it.You are overvaluing the monks silence, for all intents and purposes they have a "Small Interrupt toolkit(Stun)". As far as Stun, I wasn't talking about Shoulder Tackle, Sure you could technically run a few yards away and Shoulder Tackle, But Steel Peak is your on the go stun.
Monk silence is also the only way (not that you really need to right now anyway) to silence multiple enemies at once.
Burst is CD dependent as I said, My Howling hits for around 400, My Steel Peak hits for around 200-300, and my Snap Punch hits for around 400, 400+200+400 =1k, That's pretty much all at once, with another move following shortly after, this doesn't even count if they crit or I hit Blood for blood, or the 100-200~ DoT Damage ticks going off if I have my Dots up, or even my 140+ Auto Attack damage hitting at the same time.
If I want to kill a pack of mobs extremely quickly, I can do it. But that's called cooldown management, I guess we should just take away that part of decision making on the class too?
Perfect Balance is also another way to burst, The burst isn't amazing like BLM, or Dragoon, because you can't just burst down on every single trash pull, But it is decent enough to say it exists.
Also Mercy Stroke might be the hardest hitting ability but it only exists at 20%- health, so I don't count that into the equation since by the time you can use mercy stroke in a burst situation most likely what you're hitting is dead anyway. It's good in certain situations to add on damage since its off the GCD, It'll make you win a fight slightly quicker, but it's not something you can just use whenever its off CD.

im monk im not weak l2p.
I find it helps to macro mercy stroke with the first hit of your combo's, works quite well

I think you misunderstand what I mean, maybe you're just giving a general tip but in case you misunderstood.
I'm saying it can't be used every time it's off cool down because it is only usable at 20% or below health.
Also the only macro I use is... Fist of Wind/ Fist of Fire for stance dancing. Anything else I'd rather have available to use it whenever I want to and not have it go off at times I'd rather it not.
Sorry, but you don't just get to silence other people on these forums. They are free to share their opinions and experiences just as you are. If you want a place where you can have complete control over information, go make your own forum. This is a place for everyone to share their thoughts, whether you like them or not.
