    Here is the thing with WAR - Most fights either PREFER or NEED a Paladin. WAR has such a preference in zero fights.

    Just as some examples:

    Garuda is really a 1 tank fight. A PAL can solo tank it, though a WAR could maybe do so, but people would just need to be more cognizant of the adds (i.e. don't stand in front of either one). You get adds 2-3 times in the fight, so if you bring a second tank you basically have dead weight for 9/10ths of the fight, and honestly it's almost impossible to get enough aggro fast enough on the add for healers anyway. Having a 5th DPS to blow up adds faster would probably actually make it easier.

    Titan is definitely a 1 tank fight. It's extremely healer intensive, so most groups either run 3 heals 4 dps 1 tank or 1 tank 5 dps 2 heals. And since it's so healer intensive, most groups opt for a paladin because it's significantly easier to heal. A WAR can tank it, and will shorten the fight ever so slightly which is good because it's a soft enrage fight, but PLD is simply easier to heal throughout the fight, so most pick up groups will reject a WAR outright.

    Turn 5 in Binding Coil is another example. It basically requires 2 tanks, and both of those tanks have to be Paladins. There is no place for a WAR in a turn 5 group.

    Yes, but that's the point. Most pick up groups will prefer a PLD tank if they're going to solo tank content, because it makes it easier for the healers, and that impacts the ability for a WAR to be picked up for content.
