Why Can't a Tank Target any of the foes in the Moon Ceremony FATES?

I can target and hit many of the FATE foes in the Moon Ceremony special FATES, but for some reason, my TANK even when synched can't get a target lock and do any damage at all? I believe you get knocked back by that special skill they have until you get the swimwear but how are you supposed to get the ash to get the swimwear if you can't target anything? anyone know about this?

Also a pain to be using Tab to switch targets and then lock on a worthless normal slug or something and they can sneak up on you and kill you just as badly as normal in the mdist of it all.

Swimwear doesn't have anything to do with targeting, that is just a cosmetic thing. Are you targeting the little guys? nobody can target the big guy. just gotta keep hitting tab til you target one of the little round orange guys. Yea, targeting normal mobs is annoying, but just gotta pay attention to the target and make sure it's one of the event mobs.

I have no problems at all as a tank (marauder/warrior). I usually spam tomahawk as its ranged, then when the baloons congregate I use an area attack like overpower.

I have only ever done this event as a Pld, not sure what's causing that for you.

I don' even get this FATE nor is it fun lol.

Go through the keybind system and look for the keybind option to target the nearest enemy, and the one to target the enemy attacking you.
- I think both of these are bound to obscure keys by default. I switched them to things I could hit really easily (my number 6 and 7 mouse buttons on my Steelseries mouse) and now I always get the targets close to me when I want them.
