    There needs to be a vote kick, participation doesnt matter if you cant win because tank is afk or someone is trolling and fks everything up.

    You make it so you need half the PT to also approve, so if 4/7 people vote yes (obv dont count the guy being kicked cus he would say no lol), its KICK!!

    This needs to be added, badly.

    I totally agree. having a participation reward system where your contribution to the group is reflected on how good or how much of a reward you'll get. so just standing there doing nothing in an instance, you'll be hurting yourself in the long run. adding a kick feature or not adding one its like dealing with a double edged sword. your not going to please everyone. Square Enix needs to look at it as "How can we make things fair for all players across the board"

    How about a system that rewards players for participating in boss battles will get full tomestones 1 boss fight 15 tomestones 2 boss fights 40 3 boss fights 100. Or map completion by percentage 1 % 1 tomestones so on and on . Need not kick feature. Afk = less or 0 tomestones

    Unfortunately, it won't be easy to program for. Even more people are on your blacklist, more harder to get in DF. You might need to get kicked out of queues so you don't have to waste their time for someone you won't party with.

    That would not work. Most jerks don't care if they are hurt as long as they can bring down 3 or 7 other players with them.

    What about the whole watch vs. skip cutscenes? If someone wants to watch their cutscene then i can see this being abused to kick that person.

    There are even people who openly talk about locking the person out of the boss fight on purpose because they don't skip the scene. This would be one more tool for people to use towards implementing their will against others. So maybe a kick/vote system is not the best solution.

    There appears to be several good suggestions in this thread that should make everyone happy.

    Reward and completion should definitely be based on being active, either through dealing or taking damage. What I think may happen in some instances is that a group of friends will kick a party member to take loot. Like if a tank gear drops at the mid boss or end of the dungeon and the party (maybe even a group of friends in the same party) decide to kick the tank. How fair is that?

    Kick would be used to remove people watching cut scenes. It will never happen because you can leave the instance and do it again yourself without a leech later.

    Pretty sure the loot roll window shows up regardless of if you left the duty, so that probably wouldn't work. With that being said, that scenario has a snowball's chance in hell of happening. If 3/4 folks in a group were friends, and one of them wanted the tank gear, he would just queue as the tank. Why would they boot a tank in the middle of a dungeon and have to wait in the queue for a tank again? Regardless, there is an infinitely smaller chance of this happening than one person getting in and saying "Fuck you, gimme free completion or enjoy your 15 minute requeue!" and then going afk with zero consequences. Cause that is happening now =p

    A vote kick function is needed, granted it COULD be abused. But currently it only takes 1 person in 4/8 to be an asshole and ruin everyone else's queue. With a majority vote kick, it would take 3/4 or 5/8 to be an asshole and ruin one persons time.

    What's more likely, 1 asshole in a group of 8? Or 5+ assholes in a group of 8? Statistically speaking, there is a larger chance of an asshole ruining your queue without the existence of a vote kicker.

    Now what would need to be looked at is the duty finder re-queue timer. I'd love to see a Rift style timer where your 15 minutes starts as soon as you enter the dungeon and auto clears after the first boss.
