I'm surious, how should we start fights as BLM?
i start with swiftcast thunder3... thats just me tho
Plant face on left side of the keyboard the roll your head to right. Then once that is complete roll back to the left. If you get really good at it you can go from right to left to start but that is only for advanced players
Short wait for tank to get some hate. Thunder (because that's the cheapest opening for Thundercloud and it won't generate much hate; I can see the point of people who open with Thunder III, though). A little more time for the tank to build more hate before moving into full scale nuking with Fire III to get Astral Fire III immediately and then spamming Fire (which all-around better for general nuking than Fire III).
So essentially Thunder (of choice) into Fire 3 into main rotation?
I use Thunder 2 into Fire 3 then Fire 1 till Pyro. @500 Mana Blizz 3 into Thunder 2 unless proc for Thunder 3, then Fire 3 repeat.
Depends what I'm fighting. For trash mobs thunder goes out the window, for bosses Swiftcast > Thunder III > Quelling Strikes > Fire III > Fire spam begin.
I should really level my Archer to get the other skills :P are there any other classes skills we can use?
Raging Strikes (+20% damage to all attacks) and Quelling Strikes (reduced enmity) are the most useful ones.
From Arcanist the only ones of note are Physick (heals for about 350 at lv50), Virus (STR-15% on an enemy for 10s), and Eye for an Eye (The wording and durations are all over the place on the description but it's off the GCD and worth using on your tank).
Eye for an Eye makes sense once you understand what it does. At first, I thought it was a shield that has a chance to reduce incoming damage, which boggled my mind why the tooltip listed two durations. Instead, it's a 30s buff that has a chance to put a 20s debuff on the enemy that reduces their damage.
And thanks everyone.
