Character Transfers?

I was just wondering if any new information has come up regarding character transfers and when they will be going live. I try to keep up to date and have checked the MogStation almost every single day but the only information I can get is Mid September ... is this still the case and it should be any day now or has it been pushed back to some later time and they just haven't updated the MogStation? I would just like to know so I can either reroll (now that character creation is back up) or transfer my existing character so I can play with my friends since we were not all able to roll on the same server initially.

I'm more for getting digital downloads back up for sale before they look at character transfers.

Me and a friend are in the exact same boat. We have 3 friends in Faerie, turning into at least 5 when digital copies are available again. Some info on when transfers are happening would be very nice.

I think both Character transfers and digital downloads need to be addressed. It says my account time has almost ran out and I still haven't been able to play this game with my friend and my wife still hasn't been able to purchase the digital download. I know I'll be subbing but it really makes me question my choice.

I think that having character transfers before digital download might help since it would give them more of an idea of where people are going to end up. Personally me and my boyfriend are going to transfer from a high population legacy server to a lower population. If there is a lot of people doing things like that then new players would have a better idea of what the servers will be like when they start playing. Seriously can't tell you the number of times I start an MMO thinking the server I have is great and then I get to end game to find out no one is really even on the server anymore. Though I do agree both should be done and hopefully soon.

For Worlds that remain crowded despite these measures, and for those players who have been unable to create characters on their desired Worlds due to congestion, we will be introducing a World transfer service. Please keep in mind, however, that if you choose to move to a highly populated World, you are more likely to encounter the login restrictions described above─choosing to transfer to a less-populated World may prove to be the best choice for your gameplay experience.

The development team is currently testing this service extensively to ensure that the transfer of character data will be safe and secure.

Though there is still some work to be done, we hope to bring you an announcement regarding the availability of World transfers in the very near future.

Sounds like they're working on it and even they don't know when it'll be ready. But they're hoping for it to be soon.

So the most recent information was the 12th where they really didn't give any information. I would reallllly like this to be addressed. I just want to know if continuing with my current character is the best decision because world transfer will be available before October or if I should just re-roll now that character creation restrictions were lifted because the world transfer isn't coming until 2025.

My guess is they will announce it the week/weekend prior to it being available. So if they don't make an announcement by the end of next weekend, they won't be available until October or later.

I think it's funny how they keep telling us they are working on it and to please just wait a while longer when they already did transfers in beta 3. They already have a working transfer system and they are just telling us wait please wait. They want to get through thier show that is coming up without having possibly more problems with server congestion so they are stringing us along.
