    The entire bonus points system is silly.

    99.9% of players just dump everything into their primary stat (vit for tanks), and that works best for almost every situation.

    So yes, I sort of agree, except just remove bonus points and give the points baseline for that particular job or class.

    I think what you said is mostly correct but your example Tanks has the most variation myself my tanks tend to put the most into Str. Other classes is very straight forward but tanks are the exception alot of tanks i know put a sizeable portion of their pts into str.

    That's exactly how I feel. Most classes don't really have a choice, unless you want to differentiate the right allocation and wrong allocations.

    As much as I liked allocating stat points in games like Diablo 2, I think the system only works in games where you're expected to be self-sufficient and without a rigid party structure. Games where a non-tank character might actually have reason to put points into defensive stats, and enemy damage comes in more categories than 'healable' and 'instant kill'.
