Bonus Points - Request

Currently my main class is an Arcanist, I have picked up the Summoner and Scholar jobs, it is my understanding that once new jobs are released they will also be tied to a class that may already have the bonus points tied to a specific stat.

What I would like to see is a modification to the "soul gems" that our jobs come from, Let's say you have placed 20 points into INT and 10 into VIT as an Arcanist, when you equip the Scholar Soul Gem it should convert the points from INT into MND.
If you equip the Summoner Soul Gem, no change would happen, as the "Priority" stat is already filled.

In this way when new jobs are released the soul gem would swap "priority" stats.

I'm aware that you can buy a respec but with the nature of FFXIV it seems out of place to freely switch classes but be held firmly to your jobs.

What do you think? I'm sure there are other ways to tackle this issue.
