Alchemy 45-50, what's the easiest or cheapest way to grind out the last five levels?

I'm out of leves at the moment, and staring at my crafting log makes me cringe.. Most of the stuff I can make isn't really all that useful - which is depressing enough for its own reasons - but worse still, even the weirder and more useless of the items I can make all look to be expensive as all hell to craft.. Now expensive crafting is fine if I saw a profit, or even expected to break even, but I sort of doubt that's going to happen..

So! I'm asking pretty bluntly, how bad am I going to need to hurt my purse strings to get these last five levels? What's generally accepted to be the better of the items to grind off of? I'm taking a little break to work on Botany and some other things for a bit, but I'd like to knock these levels out before too long.. so I'd like to plan ahead based on the experiences other have had with the craft.

Just do those 6 allowances per day by turning HQ items.

Honestly, that's what I've been doing. But eh.. Was looking for something more specific.

Lanolin or Smelling Salts, the mats are not hard to find on the market and are fairly cheap.

Please make Mega-Potions, they are INCREDIBLY useful. An HQ set one is 400~ HP or so, whenever i'm running my DDs and even my tank I roll around with those (i'm an ALC right now) and use them often.

I just got my alch to cap last night, here's how I did it:

Botanist is really useful for this, if you don't have it, try to sweet-talk a gathering friend.

You want to gather: Mugwort and Mistletoe (The mistletoe from Whitebrim, Coerthas).

Grind Mega Ethers with the NQ mugwort and mistletoe, use the HQ mugwort/mistletoe to make HQ mega potions.

Sell your ethers, keep them or throw them at mages (I hear they love it!)
For the mega potions; pick up the lv40 alch leve in Ul'dah "Patch up place". Turning in HQ Mega potions will net you around 120k xp, I strongly suggest you ONLY turn in HQ potions here, since it's a bit of a chore to get to ul'dah > port to dragonhead > run to whitebrim, rinse/repeat.

This goes without saying, but try to squeeze out as much quality in your grinding recipes as possible, a 3% quality increase can mean an extra 2k+ xp. And if you gather all of your mats and sell it, you'll make a tidy profit. (Atm on Hyperion, Mega potions are going for around 7k/stack, and you get 3 per synth so it really adds up.)

    I hope this helps

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means

well my advise would be to do triple turn in leves as you can turn items 3 times for one allowance it's triple exp! for example level 40 leve asking to turn 5 Smelling Salts allows you to repeat that turn in 2 more times.
