Oceanic ping to Japanese servers is literally half that of EU/NA servers.

There are HUGE numbers of English-speaking players on Japanese realms.

All maintenance-related communication must be communicated in English along with Japanese. This one may have had a message with an [NA] prefix, but the vast majority of prior maintenances, and all of them that have only affected the JP servers, have not been addressed in English forums.

Then to expect people to know that they need to be looking at all of the game's different locations online, just in case there happened to appear a limited time offer... while the game's official service was offline, and had already been offline for several months? Just saying that you can't be too surprised by how this news slipped past so many people.

I checked the Lodestone, and nothing but the Lodestone at least once 2-3weeks. And no not the BETA Version that was up for a brief period during this time, the same one us 1.0 peeps used back then, and yet I was still informed and managed to transfer as they went up without issue, and never missed any ARR info. Add to that the emails they sent me. C'mon stop trying to justify your ignorance. There is no excuse for it other than "Ignorance"! Stop blaming others for your faults.

In this day and age where there are like more ways to contact people online than their are to eat your dinner, I find it extremely hard to even think of a reason why you wouldn't swap info, even facebook info, with someone you play a game on a daily basis with. I mean if they are indeed that important that you can't make a decision for yourself without their input surely you at least would have swapped some sort of contact info?!
If not, then again, they either aint as important to you, as you are making out, just they are another excuse for this issue, or something else that I can't even begin to grasp!
