Again, another person jumping up and down creating a scene not knowing whats being spoke of.

All you had to do was log in on the Lodestone, no need to play Beta, DL anything, do anything other than LOG IN AND PICK A SERVER on a Website.

If you chose to ignore this, and by this I mean, Emails and also common knowledge to anyone who played V1 would have known would be happening at some point before Phase4.

Forgive me, but if in fact you are unable to provide the basics in common sense and reading skills, anyone who blames SE for them (the player) not picking their server in the time alloted actually needs nothing more than a slap in the face with Titan's sweaty Jock!

Lets face it, you can use the forums to read and complain, how was it so intellectually hard to grasp doing this during the Beta phases, I mean, you claim to care about playing the game, you cared that much you couldn't be bothered to read any info provided to you?!

Those people had to choose between playing alone on NA servers, or playing with their friends on JP servers, assuming they were lucky enough to buy the game before sales were halted, and create their accounts before the rest of the masses filled everything up. Yes, I'd call these service issues.

Agree or disagree however, it's kind of hard to justify the lack of equal communication to all players.
Most of this is agreeable, however the "Ninja" update, C'mon, if you played 1.0 it was common knowledge you was going to be able to pick a server Around or before P4 of Beta began. I'm sorry if you missed the bazillion threads before 1.0 went down and the many interviews afterwards, but ignorance is by your own doing (whoever the players are who did this maybe or maybe not you personally). I got emails telling me, I also saw it on the lodestone for weeks with this info, I also saw it on OTHER gaming sites. I mean really, it was pretty hard to miss unless you was stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere eating Faeces and Distilled Urine to survive!

But now your changing your comments more towards new players, whereas your original post was in regards to a V1 who missed Transfer window blaming SE. Which is it, a New player or a lazy V1 player? Both have VERY Different stories to tell and the only one with justifyable blame falling on SE is a New player, lazy V1 player who fails at reading skills deserves no sympathy if they put their laziness on others as blame.

The beta forums required an active testing account just to log into them.

And yet Lodestone requires you to just input the URL and read away...

My god what is this I speak of? Reading? Blimey, a new concept? Is it a New contraption? A Delicacy of divine taste?! Please please inform me... /sarcasm

Then when you read the info you logged in with your OLD V1 info and clicked a scroll down box, selected your server of choice and BOOM all done. Hard work? Extremely! No need at all for any form of active BETA Account.

I can read, thanks. However I need to know that there's something for me to read before I can start doing so.

The game had an archived forum, a beta forum, a lodestone 1.0, a lodestone 2.0, a product website, an account management website, a registration website that required one type of registration key in order to provide you with a different type of key that had to be input into yet another different website... this game hasn't exactly been known the organization of its web presence, or the ease of finding what people are looking for, even when they KNOW that there's something to look for.

Then to expect people to know that they need to be looking at all of the game's different locations online, just in case there happened to appear a limited time offer... while the game's official service was offline, and had already been offline for several months? Just saying that you can't be too surprised by how this news slipped past so many people.

Yes, it was an easy thing to do if you knew the details about it. Yes, it may have even been easy to find those details if you knew to look for it. But the data suggests that nearly a quarter of players were never even made aware that there was anything to look for.
