But what do you suggest, another token system?

Maybe 2 drops instead of just one? We already get tokens (10 phil, 4 myth) at the end of the run

I think a token system should be put in place. Even if it's many tokens, if a player is willing to put time and work towards something then he should be rewarded for it...

And I know life is not fair, but this isn't life, it's a game and it should be fair XP

Thank you everyone!!! I feel so much better now. I was really disheartened when my friend got his weapon on his 4th run ,now I don't feel as bad seeing all of your guys' horrible luck!

I got the sword but it did take around 10 kills or so. I guess I'm one of the lucky few.

I feel your pain, bro. Took me 60+ runs to get my Ifrit Bow; I was about to give up, cause I saw only two bows drop: one which I lost the roll and mine, last night.
Honestly, I'm not sure if drop rates are balanced, I have no evidence to say that, but most of the times, a book would drop. A couple days ago I went nuts when the Grimoire appeared three times in a row. Although Ifrit's sword seems rarier, last night we got two in a row, so I don't know...

Scholar here. Feels good to get book on second Ifrit and second Garuda runs. Oh, there's also a bow on my first Ifrit run.

I think that they need to make it that 2 weapons or 1 weapon and 1 token for tomes drops, but 1 drop for a run is annoying it should at least drop 2 because 1/8 is horrid 2/8 at least 1 in a normal 4 man party gets a drop.

I have been trying to get my claws from ifrit all weekend... I think i would feel better if i have at least seen them drop and another MNK in my group got it, but no i never see them at all... just books, bows, THM wands... i did get the bow for when i lvl ARC (which is my next job to 50) but uhh i would like my claws nao kthxbye.
