Name change? Phial question

I heard that when you use the Phial of Fantasia you can't change your name. I really hate being a male Miqo'te because well, everyone is a Miqo'te. I want to switch to a female Highlander when I get my phial. Thought Im hearing theres no name change?

That means im stuck with my man name on my new girl character? Is this true? Will there be a name change implementation soon?

No name change. Sorry.
None thought about as of yet, when I tried to ask them via ticket...well you know what happened there.

First, legacy characters had the opportunity by filling in a form, which they were going to start looking at on 9/10. I didn't hear anything back from that on name changes, but I do know I received a vial of Phantasia in my mailbox just a moment after I filled in this form.

When they allow server transfers, they have to introduce code to prohibit naming collisions. When they introduce code to prohibit naming collisions, it is highly likely you will be able to rename in some form or fashion.

1. They just include a renaming service.
2. You can change servers one or two times depending on how this is implemented - may need to create a placeholder alt.
