Please Spay or Neuter Your Mining Bots -.-

These little bastards are out of control! I've been mining in various places at lvl 28, getting iron here, Bomb Ash there etc. I've seen bots in all areas, just outside Copperbell Mines on Hyperion server especially. I had 3 I reported roughly 4 days ago, and they aren't there anymore, but they've just moved on to further areas. Just now I reported one that was mining in Southern Thanalan, while I was gathering Bomb Ash...he displayed something that I had *heard* of, but never seen with my own eyes. This guy was coming up to a node, mining it, and then POOF, gone...onto the next node instantly. I don't understand how, once reported, these "characters" are surviving for 3-4+ days. I did find it fun to interrupt the miners at Copperbell with bombs though >.> but having them here isn't worth the entertainment value.

I agree. They are rampant everywhere. I report them all but they still keep going for hours. I was mining in drybone and encountered three bots with the "teleport hack" only there. Some guy was level 43 still in lv 15 mining gear.

SE is too busy nerfing speed runs instead of fixing the bot and shout/tell spam.

Lol, all mine are rockin the lvl 8 pickaxe and straw hat, and random lowbie gear. The Copperbell pricks went from 21-30, simply mining those for who knows how long. I don't know if SE is just swamped with reports, or if they simply don't give a damn currently, but I've stopped buying ores/ash off market cause who knows if I'm buying from those bastards :/ Thus, they effect the game in a huge way....and I'm honestly feeling discouraged that I can see them farming items almost a week straight with no penalty.

Edited to clarify: I'm not saying ME personally not buying is effecting the game in a huge way....but possibly others feel the same way, which could be effecting sales of an everyday person trying to make an honest gil

I can understand that yeah, but the one's I've reported, and are mentioning now, are clearly bots. For them to be warp-hacking, and running the exact same path each time.....and also not responding to a single tell, all raise suspicions lol. Also, if I were blowing up the everyday miner with a bomb, I'm sure I would have gotten an ass-chewing xD. For those out there who ARE mining for Lumiinary, GL you're almost there! (maybe :P) *words of encouragement*

I just saw one today too.

At first, I wasn't paying too much attention. I was wondering how a guy on steal always got to the trees before I did. Wondered why they even used stealth in an area it was not needed. Then, I decided to watch him. He would just poof and appear at the next bush. :P
