Blacklist not working?

Hello, I'm Lyle Meizak of Cactuar server. I'm sure a lot of us have noticed the problem with gold spammers and I'm sure Square is aware of them and doing what they can. Naturally, everyone's reaction is to blacklist the spammer, I've noticed this problem twice and feel that it should be addressed.



In the picture above, you can see this Aldousgrg Braddock guy spamming, followed by a blacklisting. Two minutes and one spammer later, I can still see him spamming.
So, yeah. Please help?

Gahh, and to top it all off. While I was typing this thread, duty-finder readied and I didn't notice it.

Just a thought, but you might want to edit that pic and mark out the web-page addresses, just to be on the safe side.

There is currently a known (not yet confirmed though?) bug where at the brief moment when you access the blacklist to check / amend it the blacklist feature doesn't work for a second or two - that's most likely what happened here as you were addidng the other spammer there at that moment. If you're being targetted by tell try to use the macro set on your action / crossbar instead to speed up the process:

/blist add <r>

This will add to blacklist last person who used tell on you.

This! The one time that a spammer got through on /shout after already being blacklisted was when I happened to be blacklisting someone else.
