The instant gratification crowd tends to also be the vocal douche bag crowd in games. They'll bitch about someones gear, yet be either even more undergeared or about the same gearing.

Most games I abuse my roll as healer to remove the douche bag from group with a vote kick, either I go or they do, healer shortage mean I come out on top a vast majority of the time. I'm not apathetic like many, and refuse to suffer a dungeon with an abusive jackass hammering on another player.

I'm not attacking you, I apologise if that's what it seemed like. But I'm just calling out what it's like for (some) of us on that other side that this thread seems to be bashing. I don't QQ and rage in party chat and I know the type you are referring to. But we want to have just as much fun playing but sometimes people don't seem to wrap their head around that there is some content that isn't as simple as waltzing in pew pewing and walking out with loot, and it's those kind that are burdening the rest.

It's frustrating to think you spend over a hour and a half wasted that isn't for legitimate reasons (aka poorly geared in all level 29-39 gear excluding AF). I've been helping people in AK with strats all day with Demon Wall and other problems, and worked through it. But the bottom line is if the gear level isn't above or close to 50. You're gonna have a rough time, if not impossible.

Edit: Again, not attacking you. This is more of a reply to the rest of the thread that are being sarcastic about needing to upgrade their accessories.

Yeah my bad for thinking you were attacking my sexy ass. I do understand what you mean, I'm justifying the players who hit 50 and think they can get a free run into tomes and not work for it. I just thought this guy was the biggest egotistic shit that he called me out because of one piece of my gear that I'm farming WP/AK for tomes to get the bracers, its like the fuck dude get a life at that point.

Definitely not for DPS. 2 or 3 extra INT means almost nothing.

I wished there would be a reputation system. You can +1 or -1 someone, but you can't see how many points someone got. But then again, elitists would probably -1 everyone who won't skip a cutscene. Meh.
Maybe group people with similar amounts together via DF? I'd love to watch a -100 'n00b' play with a -100 elitist. Not that it would help... but it would be funny nontheless.

This is what every person has to look forward to at level 50. I don't regret anything about trolling the people who do nothing but spend 8-10 hours a day farming one dungeon only to complain when new people get into their group.

The player in question then immediately quit right afterwards without a word, presumably to be an annoying little twat in some other group when he didn't get his way again.
