They actually animated some of the emotes starting in Early Access. Such as laugh, etc. I'll admit, it'd be pretty funny to see a chocobo dance.

Yes, forget the out of control botting, endless RMT spam, flawed combad design and bugs, and focus on the real issues. Chocobo emotes need to happen. Now!

You weren't supposed to do leves in the first place with them. (As evidence to trying to summon them after you start a normal levequest.) I hope they make it so you can't initiate a levequest with a chocobo summoned.

It'd be fun to have a different set of emotes for pets, minions, mounts and your chocobo. These things work to set up some bloody funny screenshots and help break the ice to make a whole lot of friends in this game.

Eh. I just find myself summoning it less and less. I'd rather just have the option to mount between FATEs then the piddly extra damage it gives me fighting normal overworld mobs/FATE mobs.

Really, I'm just looking for a good reason to use it at this point.

It is because the chocobo is your party member after you call him. Go and try to form a party with a player after you started a leve. Unlike the pets, who get a special slot in your party list, the chocobo occupied a normal party slot.
This is also the reason why you can't do GC leves with the chocobo, because they are for solo, not 2 member parties.
