    People Complaining

Why were so many Non-Level 50s complaining about the speed runs and now the Level 40+ people are complaining about getting experience? What has the world come to where people complain about things that don't really affect them personally? For example, the experience people get from FATEs does not affect you so why complain about it? Another example is the speed runs. Nothing in WP and AK is worth the 45+ mins to finish the dungeon. You're level 50 so nothing gives experience and you get Bronze pieces from chests. Also, you need so many Philosophies and Myths for gear that not doing speed runs is a waste of time. CM and The Prosterium give 100 Philosophies each and take as long or shorter than WP and you only get 50 in WP now that speed runs has been stopped because of whiners. /end rant

Actually crazy rushes of people at every single FATE, while intentional on the part of the devs, is pretty annoying when you can't even get a few hits in edgewise, and the thing ends before you even get a chance to give it a go. Not to mention how people with lower-end systems would start chugging. I don't see that as the community's fault, as much as the devs still need to add new content and balance the xp gains in existing content(why don't people do more leves?) before that problem can be taken care of.

And as for speed runs? This isn't a single-player game, and when a person or two in a group want to rush through shit while the others want to take time enjoying the run or vice versa, you are directly impacting their experience. Of course, this really should have been an issue solved in the community, and if anything just smells like the inability or unwillingness to communicate with the rest of your group. I think what people fail to see(again) is that outside of being in an anonymous, virtual environment, all the trappings of social interaction(asserting yourself, compromising, and interacting proactively in a group to name a few) are still in play, regardless of what some people want to believe. There's only so much the devs can do from their end. Speaking personally though, I'm usually the first to say I don't want to do a speed run or whatever else when I join a group, so it isn't a problem for me, and I don't mind that people get their jollies from it as long as it doesn't end up in complaints on the forums about there not being anything to do or things are "too easy".
