    IS that normal

    HI ALL ^^
    can you SQ do this things plzzzzzzz:

    1- make provoke useful (( PLZ ))

    2-add Defender pass skill for all tank and add lvl 2 to PLD Enhances defense (..)%

    3-add holy magic attack to PLD and make it AOE and add enmity.

    4-add skill to WAR that he gain TP if taking damage.

    5-make war use lancer skill better the Pugilist.

    6- Enhances the PLD cure make it useful plz ??

    7-make Shield Bash alone not in CD withe other skills (so he can use it when he need)

    8-add buff that all in party can have it ... if there is PLD or WAR in this party LIKE:

    for PLD :Grants a Shield effect and enhances defense for party members within area of effect ( 15% )
    for WAR:Enhances attacks of party members within area of ( 15% )effect

    i know you can see better things but i say what i think that will make jobs works good

    Provoke is extraordinarily useful, assuming you don't use it like you would in FFXI. This is not a FFXI Tank class.

    Shield Oath and Rampart are easy to manage, and for the powerful foes, you have Bulwark and Sentinel. Let us not make the class too simple, eh?

    Its a tank class, not a damage dealer. If you want more damage, pop Sword Oath and Fight or Flight. Want AoE? Circle of Scorn. Or the old stand-by, Flash for pure enmity.

    I see, so take away multiple defensive abilities, and add just as many offensive abilities. Re: 'Its a tank class, not a damage dealer.'

    PLD is not, is NOT a cure tank. Re: This is not a FFXI Tank class.

    Stun is a very powerful skill. To suggest that it should be available much more frequently, would be imbalancing unless they significantly increased its likelihood of being resisted. It's not broken, there is no reason to fix it.

    This is also not 1.23- as combat has been rebalanced, this mechanic is obsolete.

    ok i do not see anything from what you say that help here at all and looks like you only play ffxi
    did you play wow or lineage 2 or aion or rift or or or look not at all so stay where you ar in ffxi
    and who say pld is DD for that mgic skill that i need i need it to help me tank bro ^^ fix that

    The only thing I would change is to add snap aggro on Provoke for 10 seconds. Sure its not necessary and this isn't WoW, but not everyone is a pro. I see a lot of people struggle with the way it currently works.

    I don't have a problem with the current provoke system, but I'm also not one of these tanking elitist scumbags, that will look down and tell people to go play damage class while they are still learning the class because they want to give tanking a go.

    Provoke + Snap Aggro for 10 seconds = Happy tanks with no game breaking superpowers.

    provoke is useful

    but it could be much more useful if it forces the target to attack you for x sec, maybe 5sec, 2 GCD.

    The only thing I agree with here is to make a PLD healing capabilities stronger. Too strong? No. A paladin shouldn't be able to cure for 700 hp. But at least buff it so that it feels like there was a point to having CNJ as a sub-class. The fact that a PLD would heal for only 150 damage is incredibly frustrating as it serves no purpose. If a white mage's cure spell can heal for 700, then at most let the Paladin heal for 350. I wouldn't care about this if CNJ wasn't a sub-class to the PLD, but it is and I'd personally like to see that being put to use.

    I don't get the need to buff cure. We're not healers. When tanking, casting cure is just a sign that things are bad anyway. If your healers are dead there's something wrong, and if you're really at the point where the only thing left to you is cure spam then something is really wrong; wipe it up, go again.

    PLD has so many amazing mitigation tools. Healing is not our thing, nor should it be. Mitigation is our thing.

Having a Warrior do nothing but pure tanking makes sense, their subclasses have nearly nothing to do with healing others, but Paladin's do. Variety is always needed to keep interest/draw a clear difference between two things that are pretty much the same. Also, anything can happen to a healer. They can somehow think they are tanks and run head along into enemies. Or extra enemies can appear during boss fights, and they'd decide to throw their hands up and run around the places, yelling random letters out of their mouths in panic thinking it helps but in reality it makes our jobs harder. I've even had a healer that decided to go first into two groups of monsters and spam holy thinking I'd work--only for them to repurpose his organs for funny hats to wear on their heads.

    I guess what I am getting at here is that we should be able to either be able to help with healing or be a decent fall back. And just to address the whole wiping thing--- Never should a team -ever- have to just kiss their bottoms good bye just because -one- member of the team bit it. That is not balance, that is old MMO mechanics that rear it's ugly head and need to go away. Losing one team member should be problematic, not systematic slaughter. It makes the gameplay blend with WoW/Rift/Lord of the Rings/Perfect world and the rest of that stuff. Not saying I have a problem with the battle system, it flows smoothly enough. But the team set-up...there are some big issues there.
