This is my first MMO ever. So far it has been a great experience. Although playing it on PS3 can be a pain-in-the-butt sometime, since u can't really chat and do some other task at the same time and targeting system can be very frustrating. I get bored playing by myself sometimes, so is looking for some in game buddies to do some fate or dungeon together. I am still debating whether to join a FC or not, since I dont know what I can get out of joining FC. Hit me up to do some fate or dungeons. Cheers!!

You *can* chat bro! Just plug a USB keyboard in the 2nd controller port of the PS3, and voila! That's how my GF chats.

My spouse and I have been looking for a MMO to play for a few years. We tried WoW for a couple, but I couldn't really get into it. I'd been keeping my eye on FFXIV and wanted to get in on version 1.0, but the reviews kept me away. Very glad I was able to get in on the beta; after that my spouse and I were sold. I chose Goblin somewhat randomly (I liked the name). Glad I did, this sounds like a very helpful community. I'm hoping to get more involved.

I work (and pretty much live) at Ft. Bragg, NC as a SharePoint Farm Systems Administrator. Married to Rafe Sendron (50BRD), I have two huskys (Indiana Jones and Short Round aka Indy & Shorty) and two horses (Strax and River Song). Strax is a 5yr old Friesian/TB gelding and River is a 4 month old Friesian/Saddlebred/Pinto filly. If we're ever on teamspeak, please excuse the pups as they'll get rowdy and then try to get in my face while I'm playing, lucky for me, the horses aren't allowed in the house.

Life long fan of the FF series, played FF1 on NES as a 5 year old boy and haven't looked back. My Favorite FF was (is still, i guess) FFIV (note the character appearance). Most of the time I am a weekend warrior, I work full time and have a 6 year old, so during the week I like to spend time with my family and friends. Weekends, I tend to get a few hours in. I absolutely love RPGs, with spotty experience in MMOs. Never leveled a WoW character past 20, played Dofus on and off for 2 years, and got into GW2 for about five months. I'm a self-proclaimed casual, but I'm probably closer to hardcore with how many hours I spend online - until someone tries to tell me that I have to do something, in which case I slide back into being casual about it.

I haven't gotten into Coil yet, but I love dungeons and group PvE in general. Poke me if you ever need a tank for anything, AK or Sastasha, whatever you like, if I'm not already busy I'll probably say yes. Look forward to seeing you guys on Goblin! :3

Other stuff: Been playing those video games since my dad showed me Lufia on the SNES (Lufia II in U.S.) when I was a wee lad. Currently looking for an FC to help with dungeons and progress my character. I'm an incredibly shy person, even online... So DF scares me a little (been holding off CM for so long). My IRL friends are some levels below me and even then not enough for a full party... But I'm thoroughly enjoying FFXIV so far and addicted to crafting and gathering!
