What do you want about the chocobos system?

- different color and abilities (yellow, green, blue, black, gold; like FF7)

- ability to equip armors/accessories to chocobo

- chocobos have attributes; Speed, Stamina; if your chocobo run out of stamina they'll run slower

- you have to feed them

- you can leveling your chocobo

- you can fight while riding the chocobo but you need cavalier trait

- chocobo racing (like FF7)

- you can spawn/dismiss your chocobo everywhere but rental chocobos only available at stable in towns

I want customizations and variety among chocobos more than just color. There needs to be physical appearance differences, eye shapes, neck length, leg length, different head shapes, and fur varieties(some spiky, wavy, etc). Different armor you can have it wear with attributes on them. Some better for choco digging, others for speed, maybe carry items, some give boosts like a sprint boost for racers, and etc. they can even add a pros and con system to armor so their can't be the ultimate chocobo. Ex. thinner armor for faster speed but carries less(or can't carry any) items. You should also be able to dye the armor.

If FFXIV will only have one model of a mount then it needs to have features that allows us to be unique and shows who we are. Someone(like me) that loves the dark sinister look should be able to show it. Those that love digging, racing, or etc should also have stuff they can put on their chocobo to show who they are. Just look at the Grand company pages with all those different styles.

I kinda ranted on but this is an effective way so people won't complain how their is only 1 mount in the game.

Yes! Also, from what I've read via google about the green chocobo (it's small and were only for the small race. I forgot the name), I hope that they don't make some types that are only available to a certain race. In other words, I want a green chocobo. Please don't take that away from me SE; I love green =)

Chocobo colors is by far the lamest thing. I'd say there should be like 3 chocobo colors maximum, kinda like tigers when you see a white tiger you're in awe at its beauty because its rare, but when everyone is riding rainbow colored birds its pretty ugly because it doesn't look natural. I would say give us 3 chocobo colors, yellow, white, and black (Rarest).
