Major! Chat is silently dropping specific strings regardless of sender or channel!

I just wanted to bump this while making it clear this seems to affect many, many long strings. Numerous role-playing sessions have already been ruined because of this bug—five or more minutes of silence go by until we eventually figure out a message was dropped—and the randomness of it makes it all the more insidious.
