If SE listened to the topic creator then that FATE will just turn into another 30sec FATE just like all the other normal non-boss FATES. But the way it sounds like he wants it, it will be a minute of killing trash just like AK.

Any FATE (done as intended, i.e., objectives) is a thirty second FATE with enough people zerging it and has nothing to do with the topic at hand. I want XP exploits dealt with and the harassment that people with integrity face trying to do the FATE as intended put to rest.
Sorry, didn't mean to double post. The mobile site is not very intuitively laid out.
The people thinking this is intended are missing a few key points.
1. This FATE, while exploited, awards twenty times more XP than any other FATE at this level.
2. Players who attempt to complete the FATE in the intended manner (competing objectives) are harassed by people exploiting the FATE.
3. Other FATEs with similar mechanics do not have the mob density and respawn rate that this FATE has.
All signs point to this being an oversight, unintended, and an exploit.

We get it. You dont need to spam the thread with it.Any FATE (done as intended, i.e., objectives) is a thirty second FATE with enough people zerging it and has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Anyone else wonder what Moogle tastes like?
There is a 13 minute timer. You are mad because people are taking full advantage of the timer given to them by the devs? Are you also one of those guys that blows a gasket when someone in group watches the cut scenes? Got to move, move, move eh? This should not take more than 30 seconds! Just because people are playing a different way than you think they should, does not mean you are right. In fact, I would probably say based on your attitude and tone that you aren't a creating a positive impact for your fellow players in game.Any FATE (done as intended, i.e., objectives) is a thirty second FATE with enough people zerging it and has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You aren't demonstrating integrity sir. You are just showing us you are a narrow-minded player throwing a tantrum on the forum.

You would probably call an NPC that gives you money for buying things working as intended too. There is a 13 minute timer. Come on now, you're being silly.
Comparing an obvious unintended bug to what is essentially a repeatable quest that spawns adds until a timer expires or conditions are met, isn't exactly apples to apples.

There are fifteen minute timers for the simplest of FATEs. The timer is irrelevant. I don't rush people through dungeons; also irrelevant.
I do, however, do FATEs as they're intended to be done. You may have noticed that there are objectives under this timer you seem to be so fixated on. That's what you're supposed to do to progress or complete FATEs. That's what I do. I don't abuse oversight by the developers; I play the game the way they intended. I want this fixed so people can play the game in peace rather than having impatient, entitled brats harass them because they can't earn 20x more XP than any other FATE in the game by exploiting the trash in phase one of this FATE.
I have the integrity to not abuse oversight by the developers which is more than I can say for a lot of people.

The timer is relevant. Why would you consider a timer for a fate an oversight by the devs? You have X amount of time to complete Y conditions. The event will continue until the conditions are met (Win) or the players run out of time (Lose).
That's great that you want to speed things along. Go kill the mobs then. Report douches that harass you. There isn't anything wrong with the quests, the problem is the vitriol you receive from other players. As sad as this is, that is commonplace in MMOs. I hate that people can be so cruel to each other. Report them and move along though. No need to let it get to you.

The timer is not the oversight; it's the obscene amount of XP you can earn by completely ignoring the objectives. Even if there are other FATEs that have similar mechanics the mob density and respawn rate are much lower so they're not farmed in such a manner. People are so protective of this exploit that they resort to harassment and false botting reports to try to get back at people who just do the FATE as it is intended to be done. That is reason enough alone to fix it, but I can also toss in that it is grossly out of proportion compared to every other FATE of this level (20x more in fact) and that should be a huge indicator that this is not intended.
