I don't think you got what I was saying. I was just pointing out the difference in what an exploit is, compare to taking advantage of a game mechanic. What does it mean "it's part of the fate" or "the dev coded it this way".
Of course the devs coded it this way. But if it's a dev error it's going to be corrected. It's not like devs code an exploit on purpose waiting for the first guy to find it and make a message pop with "congratulations you found it. here, take these 10k bonus exp".
Exploits are errors coded in the game abused by others. When SE officially says that it's working as intended then you can claim that it's working as intended. Until then stop bashing a possible exploit report, otherwise, if it will get corrected, you are just adding more and more shame on yourself.
And even if they fix it to how they want, it does not make it an exploit.
Think what you want, but I call it an exploit. An exploit is a piece of software, a chunk of data, or sequence of commands that takes advantage of a bug, glitch or vulnerability in order to cause unintended or unanticipated behaviour to occur on computer software, hardware, or something electronic (usually computerised).
Lots of people in this thread have apparently not played 1.0 at launch (or 11). You will get banned for exp exploits (like the one in the first week of 1.0 launch) and frankly SE doesn't care about your opinion of whether it's an exploit or not. But hey, they were being nice in 1.0 and allowed people to turn themselves in and get reset hundreds of thousands of exp and skill points. The people who didn't got banned pretty quick. And if the past is anything to go by, you can be banned by exploits you did years back too. It really doesn't matter if you think it's legitimate or not. If SE believes that this is not intended, they will ban users who abused this.
