Dark Devices - Phase 1 Exploit

Hey "Mr Piss on everyone's parade" did you ever stop to think that when SE was fixing the AK and WP "exploits" that if they say the farming of Dark Devices for XP to be unintended they would have fixed that as well?

It absolutely does not affect you. But YOU are here making one of the first threads I've seen calling for a direct nerf to a clever use of game mechanics to speed up leveling once per hour or two.

Hey that's what people called the speed runs right? I'm glad someone brought this to the forums attention hopefully they do something about it. I'm still blown away by how desperate people are to level in this game.

"Clever use of game mechanics" is code for "something that is probably an exploit but I'm too dishonest with myself and others to admit that I am exploiting."

People sit in groups and camp this spot waiting for it to pop so they can earn a quick 245,000 XP. These are people who aren't doing any other FATEs or dungeons in the meantime because of this low hanging fruit. There is no reasonable justification for the obscene amount of XP this FATE gives over every other fate in the game. Exploiting is bad, mm'kay?

I won't stop until it's fixed. I don't care if I piss off a few people who lack integrity in the process. Thanks for the bump!

On my server every fate party, even the ones built with classes in mind specifically to get the most out of DD, wait in town and go from fate to fate till DD pops.
No one who is farming DD that hard is going to sit the long amount of time it takes for DD to repop, and miss all of the exp from other fates.

@B I won't stop using it, because it does not need to be fixed. I don't care if it pisses off one guy in the process.

INB4 you preach at me for leveling up with it. I haven't gained one drop of exp from DD. I was 50 before I knew it existed. I've only used it for spiritbonding as of now.

I will use it for my next class though, please look forward to it.
