I don't think you got what I was saying. I was just pointing out the difference in what an exploit is, compare to taking advantage of a game mechanic.

And even if they fix it to how they want, it does not make it an exploit.

An exploit is a piece of software, a chunk of data, or sequence of commands that takes advantage of a bug, glitch or vulnerability in order to cause unintended or unanticipated behaviour to occur on computer software, hardware, or something electronic (usually computerised).

Think what you want, but I call it an exploit.

Lots of people in this thread have apparently not played 1.0 at launch (or 11). You will get banned for exp exploits (like the one in the first week of 1.0 launch) and frankly SE doesn't care about your opinion of whether it's an exploit or not. But hey, they were being nice in 1.0 and allowed people to turn themselves in and get reset hundreds of thousands of exp and skill points. The people who didn't got banned pretty quick. And if the past is anything to go by, you can be banned by exploits you did years back too. It really doesn't matter if you think it's legitimate or not. If SE believes that this is not intended, they will ban users who abused this.

Every other FATE in the zone needs to be made bigger, longer, and more grindable. It seems like they are all made for 4-8 people to be able to do, but with so many people trying to do them it's a mess just trying to hit a mob and they all end in about a minute.

The thing about this community is why do everyone feel the need to stomp on to others interest?

I mean just because you dont like to fate grind doesnt mean everyone should stop doing it.

If you think farming mobs from dd is not appropriate then dont do it. Simple as that. If others are enjoying them then let them be. It's their life not yours.

If this is an exploit, then you better fix all the gather fates too, because people hold their drops until the fate is about over before turning them in and they farm then the same as DD Phase 1. DD is just the most noticeable example. There are at least 2 gather fates in every zone that suffer the same problem.

If anything, people want this fate fixed because everytime they rush the lambs, they get black listed by 200 people. I mean our server actually has people camp the back and call out people attacking lambs. Saw a guy raging out because he was the MT in his FC and they kicked him over DD... lol

Hah, classic. Don't want to be blackballed, then don't get in the way of other people and their fun. Nobody chaining DD is doing so because they feel like they have to, it's because they want to. A lot of people are trying to level alternate classes to 50 now, and quests are slim pickings at that level, so you go with what's easy. It's not even like it's OP. I could see the argument if you could grind cultists all the way to 50 from 40 without stopping, but you can't.

Just shut up, get in a group, and grind away, or don't. But Don't be that guy...
