Quests are pretty sparse after 46, running the FATEs around the processing plant (DD included) really helped me 48-50. SE could have nerfed it when they nerfed AK in the patch; they didn't. Sad that I've seen lvl 50 players deliberately trolling the server by rushing in and killing the lambs, especially given that they likely used the "exploit" themselves.

It's so funny seeing so many people argue about whether this is an exploit. In the end, SE will eventually decide whether this was the way it was intended to work. I'll exploit it while I can, but I won't particularly miss it if it disappears, so the joke, I guess, would then be on everyone else.

What results is approximately 14:30 of people spamming AOE and doing nothing else in order to earn anywhere from 10,000 to 200,000 XP depending on the quality (and luck) of their group.

I fail to see this as a bad thing, considering how grindy leveling becomes from 40-50. So what you're saying is you would rather grind MORE fates instead of spending more time on ONE. What frickin' difference does it make?

I have an idea guys, lets just nerf EVERYTHING in the game so that it takes a whole year (365 days) of 24/7 mob killing just to hit max level. Lets remove quests, dungeons, fates, everything and just have you kill mobs for the entire game.

Seriously, if you don't like it then don't participate in it. But for those of you thinking "well it makes other things slower"... first off nobody is doing dungeons anyways (except the story ones), the FATES are bringing zones together whether it be a zerg or not you are working together with other people in your party and/or zone. And finally nobody is forcing you to level with FATES, but seriously stop worrying about what other people are doing and worry about yourself.

I hope you don't act like this when you're driving in real life or something, constantly worrying about what everybody else is doing and what not. That would drive me insane.

i means it's fairly possible to get more of 200.000 exp with just this fate, come on, the reward is 10-15k exp and you can get more of 200k from that..."technic" and you defend it?

i had the same experience ZohnoReecho someone was pissed because i did finish the fate 1 time and he did start by insulting me and all, first report.
later i join a group for chimera, he was inside, he did get the lead and kick me out of the group and restart to insult me via mp.... second report.

the trouble is people think they are right... because it's annoyed them if is wrong, means they need to play normally without shortcut!
i will surely have a lot of enemy after this comment.

but i think SE need to use severly the ban hammer for make understand this people that find and exploit a shortcut is not welcomed!

What really gets me about this thread is how lame it is. It's really just a pissing match at this point.

Yes, everyone is aware of how entitled people can be, and think that they really shouldn't have to earn what they have. I mean if they can't get it easy by God it's not worth having.

That aside, this is something that will be fixed because it's being used in a way that was not intended.

Let them enjoy it while they can, they did with the speed runs for AK, until they were fixed because they were being..what? Used in a manner that was not intended.

Something that gets me still is that in the original post the OP talks about all the hate coming towards people who just want to do the FATE. Getting Black Listed for using a game mechanic the way it was intended to be used is just wrong.

Yes grumble and moan because someone stopped your chance at milking an exploit in a FATE, but don't black list them just because they want to complete the Fate in the way it was made to be completed.

If you look up the definition of the word exploit you will see this is very definition of what an exploit is.

So really what we have here is a vicious cycle. People wanting to complete the FATE get stupid amounts of hate thrown at them, and the people who want to exploit it are pissing off the people who just want to do the FATE correctly.

If anything I'd want to see this FATE fixed so you can no longer farm the exp, not to screw over the lazy people who want easy exp, but to end the angst coming from both sides.

None of this really has any effect on me as I'm already 50, but what does is just how much hate and anger this one FATE has generated.

You guys should really be better than this.

May i suggest a GM investigating this exploit (and any other exploit) to send into ingame jail/suspend the account of the exploiters?

(A good start is who is defending this exploit on this thread)
