Since i have bought this game i have been trying to play with my group of friends on the NA Cactaur server, but yet it is always full..And the only time it was open i had military duty yo take care of... Anychance someone knows if cactaur will open or when server transfers are coming?

Transfers should be here next week. They said Mid-Sept so let's see they hold their word to it.
But I think they meant transfers for lower servers...no point in trying to go into a server you can't get on to begin with.
We'll see. :/

I would reccomend you and all your friends starting on a server at the same time, though most character creation restrictions should be lifted for at least a limited time when transfers come out. If they don't, just have your friends transfer over to one of the lower population servers and start a character on that server at the same time.

Thats odd. The biggest 'line' ive seen for Cactaur lately has been maybe 10-20 minutes. What times are you trying to get on?.. this entire weekend ive had no trouble.

They wont let you create a character on this server. I have been trying around the clock since I missed the window on thursday. The awful thing is the transfers wont be for at least 2-3 months either.

I feel your pain. Server is coming down...for maintenance in two hours...maybe tomorrow!!

2-3 months? no Lodestone still says mid-September. Don't spread false information without backing it up from a verifiable (official) source.

I made a character yesterday morning on Cactuar no problem. Was 7:30 AM Central US Time.

Off-peak hours is way to go - they update the top post on the launcher page and change status 5 - 6 times a day so you should be able to get in to create character.
