Most lucrative profession?

Another thing to consider when selling things on the market as a goldsmith - Many rings have different stats for seperate classes but require the exact same materials.

So brass ring and brass ring of crafting are exact same materials, yet if you check the market boards, chances are one of them is in higher demand at the time, and almost always 5-600 gold higher than the other!

Any profession can be lucrative, you just have to know where to look!

Unfortunately, Alchemist doesn't seem to be particularly profitable. I was hoping that I could start selling Mega-Potions, Mega-Ethers, and Elixirs for a tidy sum of money, but very few people are interested in buying them. It also doesn't help matters that the prices for them are fairly low on my server (Mega-Potions are around 70gil per, last I checked). The only 100% profitable item I've found is a HQ Mega-Potion of Vitality, but that's because one of the materials (Pudding Flesh) is a pain to get, and it's a quest item.

Still, I'm holding out that the stat-boosters will hold some value down the road, as well as the status pots. Has anyone had any luck as an Alchemist, barring the usual relic weapons and what-not?
