Which stats matter more? (Stats Thread) | Can achievement titles be worn? (question)

    1) I appreciate that each stat's general function is known, but which stats are *better* than others. I need to know so I know what gear I should be looking for.

As a monk, I value STR (and I'm putting every point into it), Critical Hit Rate, Skill Speed and Determination. Whilst I appreciate VIT/ACC may be relevant, I don't see any need to ever choose them as primary attributes in items/materia.

What I don't know is how much each *point* is worth? What's better for DPS, and in what order?: STR, Determination, Crit Hit Rate, Skill Speed (I've listed them in the order I *guess* would influence the most DPS (best->least). But I'm only guessing..

Extra question (due to posting limits): I see that achievements give rewards/titles, but I never see people wearing any titles next to their names.. are titles equippable/visible to others at all, or just a tick in your achievement book/maybe something visible on your internet profile and nothing more?

Titles are equipable, but I'm not sure if they can be viewed by others, if they aren't that would be a bit pointless though.

They're probably like the titles you "wore" in FFXI. People saw them when they examined you, but they didn't float visible above your head like in TERA and WoW.

Now that you say it I might have seen them that way... my memory isn't very good though.

Titles can be selected on the profile tab of your character window by clicking on the arrow next to "Title", but to be honest right now I don't know if they can be seen by others, but I assume they do (at least when inspecting someone).

Typically, stat priorities go Acc(until good hit rate)>generic damage stats. For the damage stats, can only really say X=?Y if they both modify damage in nearly the same way. Otherwise it varies greatly depending on how much of each stat you have. At low numbers it could be 50X=Y, high numbers it could easily switch to X=50Y.

Right now, only one I am not entirely sure how it affects damage is determination. So when figure in primary stats, determination, crit, and speed(skill or spell) all together, the comparative value of each changes based on how much you have of the others.
