Make up for it with the complete inbalance of the RNG on dungeon drops. 75% Tank Gear 25% Disciple of war/disciple of magic. Every dungeon since I started.

Yes it is not easy to be a Gladiator Tank in a FATE, some of them you can barely get any chance to attack because high level players dive in with some huge skills and kill of the main enemy in seconds i guess they are using FATES to mine for XP but it kind of ruins it for everyone else, esp that skill that makes a slash slash sound, dont know what it is. I am tired of doing all the hard work and then they grab the points and just hang around the main FATE spots. I suppose in time there will be a way to limit this in code but for now frankly FATES can be a waste of time, medal or no medal.

Reportedly they are going to "fix" Fates. From the sounds of it fates are really broke - just be first to hit something to get credit for it? Sounds more like an exploit than anything.

No it's not just hitting something to get credit. You get credit based upon reaching performance levels. If you're a tank its based on enmity, DD is by damage, and healer by healing or probably doing support magic too.

Spamming flash as a glad is the most effective way to get gold in fates, coupled with shield oath for the 2x enmity boost. So it's not just tagging.
