Tank Fate XP is unbalanced:

I use my level 19 conj and get 5.5k+ XP per fate... on my level 19 Glad I get 3.5k if I'm lucky.

I've tried to pull single mobs to the side and DPS as fast as possible... I've also attempted to chain cast "flash" and then "cure" in attempts to hold agro and see if the healing would give me bonus XP... nope.

I don't get why I'm out 2k XP each Fate just because... why again?

I would suggest joining a party to compensate for the issue.
A Gladiator in my opinion is harder to Tank with as the Warrior can AOE spam with aggro abilities.

In my opinion a Gladiator is a boss tank and the Warrior is a mob tank.

Possible conj is still getting the 50% bonus from catching glad? Are you getting golds on glad?

This. You get a 50% exp bonus off any other class you level until they match whatever class you picked as a main.

Tanks don't do enough damage. And frankly - if you're a tank, why are you FATE grinding? You can chain dungeons back to back if grinding is your obsession. Flash is a no damage skill too - so you're wasting a lot of cooldowns on something that does neither damage or healing... I'm assuming your conjurer gets more XP because maybe heals count. Flash though - does NOTHING but boost your enmity. Not much point to using it ever outside of a guildleve or dungeon.

If I'm not wrong the fate performance is measured by emmity, so both tanks and heals can obtain a gold medal by doing their roles.

I almost always get gold in every Fate I have done as a Gladiator. Honestly, I have more issues with having the NPC's show up on my screen before the Fate is over. I have had it where I show up to a Fate and because there are so many people, I can't populate the mobs I need to kill to get credit.

u just need to get used to it... originally i thought getting exp on healer was tough (in fates) but i got the hang of it after a while.

on mrd and gld, i rely primarily on lob/tomahawk so i dont need to waste time running. if a mob get close to me i would start como-ing it, otherwise, jist lob/tomahawk. and i get gold most of the time.

What i do to get gold on GLD/PLD is:

- Get claim on unclaimed mobs with shield lob. You don't need to kill them, tagging them gives credit.
- Flash groups of mobs. This will cause your contribution from enmity to skyrocket.
- Run around Shield Lobbing every single mob you see.

Tank FATE gold medal is easy, I've noticed that healing requires more effort and tossing in some damage as well.
