free company housing???

So, there will only be one housing area so far, and houses will cost money either for Free Companies or single players who can dish out the gil.

I'm wondering did they say anything about transferable ownership? Can I buy one big house or a few small ones and sell them? I wonder if they'll be in separate instances or something and have it so a ton of people can buy a house, or if they'll be pretty rare and prized possessions. I have about 1.5 mil at the moment and wonder if I should buy a house that might go up in value if I choose to sell it now, or at least provide some kind of benefit. I come from Ultima Online where real estate is big business, and it would be awesome if position mattered..... first come first serve in some areas that could be traveled and seen by all, and maybe a little instanced section in the back for the plebeians =P

Personally, I think FC housing will be paid for with Credit instead of Gil.
Currently, the only thing you spend the Credit on is FC buffs and those are really cheap...
