Petition to be able to dye unique items

I was looking forward to becoming a Black Mage. I even dyed some material black in preparation.

Now that I actually became a black mage, I got a hat called the "Doctore's Hat" which I simply must wear because of its stats, however it is undyable being a unique item. YET... It is the identical geometry model to the regular Hempen Hat. Therefore there is no practical reason why it cannot be dyed.

As such, I looked more like a Black Mage *before* I became a Black Mage, and now... I am forced to walk around stupid, wearing a brown hat or else nerf myself just to look like the Black Mage I am, forced to wait another 20 levels or so. It is insanity.

I'd like to be able to dye all items. On the bright side, if they don't allow that, they do at least plan to add a vanity system so you can equip the gear you want displayed while having stats from your real gear.

Being able to dye the caster Puffy Shirt from the first three dungeons would have been nice for sure.

I would love this. An NPC in Drybone (I believe) has on a white Acolyte's Robe, and it looks awesome. I want one like that.

As it is pretty much anything worth wearing for stats can't be dyed, rendered the system rather redundant. Not to mention the "lore" reasons for making thing undyeable dissolve the moment you have to mix gear (forced Raindow Pimp mode). Given the majority of the game your in some kind of mixed gear transition, just let us dye what we want.

The players that don't believe in it can not use it. Being able to dye my rare/unique/AF gear neither affects nor even hinders anyone else's choice not to.

Funny thing is, when early access began, I was able to dye a green item from some very low-level dungeon (Sastasha, perhaps?). Never worked with any higher level stuff.
So yes please, we want dyes to be useful for something else beside crafted gear, seeing how we spend 95% of the time in gear that did not come from crafters...
