Grand Company Hunting Log 2

I recently finished the first level (Difficulty 1) of the Order of the Twin Adder. At the top of the page, it says I killed 34/34 monsters. How do I unlock the second difficulty ranking? Currently, I'm level 39 and my Grand Company rank is Serpent Corporal.

I could be confusing the rank order because god knows I'm clueless about military structure and I have a memory best equated to a pasta strainer, but I think you need to advance one more rank to unlock the second level of the log and hit Sergeant Third Class.

That's what I was dreading. FATEs are the easiest way to get the seals... but they're horrible to attempt on the PS3. By the time I get to the FATE and have monsters load, it is already over. Not worth the frustration. Guess I'll have to grind GC quests until I get 2k more seals.

There are 3 class / rank and there are 5 ranks, (that's how I define them), so for you to continue w/ 2nd page of GC hunting log, you need to be at your 2nd rank of your GC. Turn in seals to get promoted.

It's not so bad, to tell the truth. To me, accumulating seals is the most irritating part of the game, so I just ignore it for a day or two, and when I check my currency and see I've gotten a few thousand more, I'm like "oh... I don't even remember that happening, but okay..." and get another promotion.

Unlock all 8 Crafters classes and do the Supply missions. Unlock all 3 Gatherer classes and do the Provision missions. Turn in HQ instead of REG for 50% bonus.

I'm playing on PS3 also and was having a hard time targeting in fates. What really helped me was to start using TAB on my keyboard to target the next enemy. Try it. Good luck.
