Yoshi P... Hear my Plea...Can You Help My Family? (with World Transfers)

I am a Legacy Player "stuck" on Excalibur...which is full...so my daughters cannot join me.

My youngest daughter bought the game but Cactuar was the only NA world available.

My oldest daughter bought the game but now Cactuar is full.

I am willing to re-roll but I can't get on Cactuar either.

Ideally I would like for them to join me on Excalibur OR I would like to transfer to Cactuar OR I would like to roll a new character on Cactuar AND have my other daughter roll a character on Cactuar OR I would just like to find an NA World we can all play on together.

I know many people are having the same issues trying to play with friends and/or family but the restrictions are preventing them from doing so.

So my question is basically this: "Have you come up with a plan to help people in this situation, when will we be able to transfer and will it be paid or free the first time?"

Obviously we love the game. We just want to be able to play as a family.

My wife and I played ffxi for 9+ years together, we both have CE disk editions of ffxiv. I created my character in 1.0 like you did and now we can not get her onto Excalibur to play with my 1.0 character... Half of the linkshell I created on ffxi is in Excalibur but we can not get the rest of them in. These are people who we adventured with for over 9 years... I want some kind of answer for this situation. He wants to create a better environment for the people who already bought the game yet the thousands of people just like us have yet to get an answer as to how this will be resolved. Yoshi, enough is enough, the time has come to give us an update on completely locked down servers.

Even though it was open for a very short amount of time I was finally able to get my wife's character created.

Similar situation here. I have a 1.0 character on Balmung, but a couple close RL friends of mine are on Lamia and Moogle, and neither of us can transfer. We just want to play the game together!

They have had enough time now to figure out a solid plan of attack. I have literally woke up at the times of server restriction updates every 6 hours just to check on excalibur's status to try and get my wife in at least.

Sounds like a lot of people have this problem. A friend got me to play, after much poking and prodding, and I only got on his server because my son stayed up until 3 am. We have others that want to join us but can't. One even tried to preorder and after the charge went through twice on his card he only got half the email and no way to download the client. I think he might give up and just stay with WoW. I really wish there was something they could do. Seems like the gold sellers got on easy enough.

If free transfers won't be given, when will the paid transfers start?

I'm asking for a target date, not just mid-September which is already here.

Ok I have seen SE reps respond to a post entitled Thank You SE! I'd assume it was because they were actually being praised for something. I'm beginning to think SE has a no dealing with angry customers on a day that ends in y policy. Can we please have some answers?!?! I will even thank you in an entirely seperate thread! same situation...they need to unlock Excalibur for a few hours...Every update we've been locked just about since release. There was a small window after the server capacity changes, but it was SMALL.
