Best JP server for english speakers.

I live in Australia and originally started playing on a NA/EU server like i do in all my games,
unfortunately i receive a very high latency of around 400+ this makes it very hard to play as enemy AOE hits me regardless of how far i run out of it 80% of the time.

I play a healer and me not being able to avoid most AOE is bad, i used to use a proxy tunnel to help the issue but lately its been giving me horrible lag spikes so i have stopped.

With world transfer coming up i am thinking of moving to a JP server as i am meant to get about 150-200 ping instead and that a HUGE improvement.

But the issue there is being a JP server much of the player base will of course be speaking Japanese, unfortunately i neither speak or understand the language.

So i was hoping someone could help me out by filling me in on what JP server is best for English speakers like myself.

Tonberry for sure

I believe most of them are in Tonberry, Tiamat or Masamune (Legacy). Although, I believe it might be really hard to create a character in Tonberry at the moment. I was lucky, and was able to create a character on Tonberry after the last 1 GB patch, although prior to that I ended up playing a Dragoon to Lv35 in Cerberus (EU).

That said, there's a list of set phrases that can be auto-translated by the chat. This means that it translates that text to the user's selected native language. The text will be encapsulated by a set of green and red arrows. So it's not too bad playing with the JP players.

Yea Masamune or Tonberry are the only ones im aware of with any significant english speaking populations.

Ok cool thx ill have to see what i can do, i know tonberry isnt accepting new toons maybe i might have luck later on when the servers are sorted out.

SE need to officially designate an Oceanic/Asia server within the Japan Server group.

Ultima is up there, too. Not as high as Tonberry, but there's a ton of us.
