Raining in Thanalan

It rains in the desert more often than you might think. Considering the game's accelerated passage of time I don't think it's too far off the mark.

I have lived in a actual desert, much like around uldah, and it rains really hard once a year, and rains every once in a while the rest of the year. So, no it doesn't rain that much.
