Grand Company Transfer

It says that I must wait a period of 26 days before I can transfer to another Grand Company.

What I want to know is this real-life days or in-game days?

Also, is there a way to check up on how many days are remaining?

After some digging I found that this is indeed real-life days and in order to check up on the amount of days remaining, you need to go to a GC that you're not currently with and try to attempt a transfer by talking to the officer behind the desk (not the quartermaster). A textbox prompt will then appear displaying how many days you have left remaining before you can transfer.
