If you want me to heal someone needs to be covering my aggro. That isn't happening.

Cannot stress this enough. If I fulltime heal on one of the few fates that actually needs it, I typically get little reward and end up tanking/kiting half of the zone into the bargain. So uh, it's both easier and more rewarding to just mindlessly spam Stone. No wonder that's what most sensible people choose to do.
