can't gain access to Cid - bug?

I was suppose to pick up the Garuda quest from Cid but my level was too low - so i left the airship landing. Now i can't back in to talk to him lol. is this a bug or is there some way for me to get in? cuz all the attendant says when I talk to him now is where I wish to fly, Ul'dah or Limsa Lominsa.

correct me if im wrong but after they ask you that and you pay the 200 gil fee is it straight to the cutscene or do you actually get to run behind the desk and click on something that asks you to board. If its the later you can just talk to cid there, or fly there from another city and you should wind up in the area where cid is. I forget since I rarely use the airship.

i am pretty sure it is straight cutscene to flying off, and when you land, you end up outside of the airship landing.

Are you high enough level for the next quest? The attendant will actually not let you back there again to see Cid until you're high enough level to actually do the next quest. I noticed this specifically during the Garuda phase of the storyline, I was one level short of being able to do her.. so I left the dock. To my dismay I noticed there was no way to get back to Cid.. Nonetheless, I knew it didn't matter since I wasn't high enough to continue anyway.. soon as I leveled though, the attendant happily let me back there as you'd expect.

To those who have trouble getting back to Cid ... have you completed the entire STORY SCENARIO including finishing the quest from Ceana in Aleport?

Have you completed the entire The Curious Case of Giggity quest line?

It's easy to miss if you weren't high enough to pick up a ll of Ceana's quests. You can proceed to Stone Vigil, get Cid's ship etc and still not be able to move forward. Check Aleport and make sure you have finished Ceana's quest line.

I remember this and all i had to do was talk to the guy behind the counter that lets you pay to fly to another city. One of their options were, go to the airship landing.
