Possible King Tonberry exploit

During a recent run in Wanderer's Palace, I, the tank, went down after an Everyone's grudge. The Black Mage then began kiting King Tonberry around the room in a circle long enough for my weakness to wear off. King Tonberry was attempting to use Everyone's Grudge on the black mage, but because he kept moving wouldn't use it until he came to a stop. During this we were able to damage the boss, without triggering any more tonberry spawns, and without Everyone's grudge activating. Any action on the enemies' side was sufficiently stunted for a period of time, allowing us to take quite a large chunk out of KT's hp without incurring any damage ourselves.

Sounds like kiting him works as well as straight up tank and spank...

Nah, it wasn't merely a tactic, it was shutting the boss down. He was stuck in lvl5 throat stab waiting to kill someone. As long as it was kited, the little tonberries that were supposed to keep you occupied, did not spawn, and the King Ton never hit anyone. Was kind of a cheap, accidental thing we stumbled upon while waiting to bring the tank back to life. I'd rather kill him the way he was intended.

I should also mention that during this time, the King was fixated on the kiter, even after I had technically taken hate back and his target bar changed back to me. It didn't actually come after me again until the black mage stopped moving and got killed from Everyone's Grudge.
