Main Scenario Quest Issue (The Penitent Man)

Steps: 1. I queued for a duty using duty finder.
2. I turned in the previous Main Scenario quest at the same NPC.
3. I began the dialogue for The Penitent Man.
4. Duty finder came up and missed the rest of the conversation.

Problem: I have the quest, but I am a lore fanatic in these games. I missed main story lore, but am unable to abandon a main story quest to revisit the conversation. I have tried asking on lodestone and forums for help in reading the dialogue. I have also tried looking at third party sites, but none have the information I seek. I have tried submitting tickets, first reply told me they can't do anything and second told me to post here. I am fine with abandoning the quest from my log so that I have to pick it up, a transcript of just the dialogue in accepting the quest, or if last option, a rollback. I have been avoiding progressing in case a rollback is only way to find this story. I will check back on this thread for progress or if additional information is required.

Is there any eta on replies in this thread? I submitted tickets both ingame and on the website. The first reply did not make sense with what I had written. The second reply said to come here to get help with my issue, but it has been 3 days since posting this and a week since my issue occurred. Having at least 3 different places to go to for support but unable to get help in 2 of them is poor design. I see not all posts are answered here, and answers do not appear to come in order of submission.
