I would prefer the content remain at the current difficulty level. I'm taking my time crafting and gathering right now. When I get to end-game content, I'd like to experience the same level of challenge as those before me.
yup, i don't know how they can nerf it but they will, better come to terms with it.

Hmm Yoshi has stated this from the beginning, If I were you I would leave crafting till after running these things because they will be nerfed. Thats why I am trying to finish my darklight set and finish my relic now that it's hard. And I believe that this is what everyone that wants hard content should do.

Lower the difficulty = fix latency issues?
You have a good point. It's a shame, but I may just have to put crafting/gathering on hold for a bit.Hmm Yoshi has stated this from the beginning, If I were you I would leave crafting till after running these things because they will be nerfed. I agree that the content difficulty should remain where it is... Really now, Titan is the only fight currently that can be considered "hard". So what will ifrit and garuda be doable with a 4 man pt now? AK duo? All the fights in the game take a little focus and maybe some practice, even titan, I really can't fathom why someone would want things in this game to be so easy that they take little to no effort to beat... How is that fun?
If there is content that can only be consistently enjoyed by less then 5% of the playerbase, you can be pretty sure it is going to be nerfed at some point. Has nothing to do with people complaining about it being too hard, but avoiding a rift in the player base as there is usually a trend of players farther along not helping others progress unless they are in their FC/LS or are friends, and even then it can be like pulling teeth to get help.
Just as a test, when was the last time you ran Toto-rak on your CNJ outside of helping FC/LS members or friends on your server, besides when you were doing it for story/gear? This is not about making the dungeons easy either, but helping people who may be stuck because they can't get a healer in the first place. Or for some it could be a tank instead.
Have any of you people whining about stuff being too easy actually done Titan hard mode (without being carried/paying your way through) or attempted the Binding Coil yet?
If yes and you still believe things are too easy, then you sir/madam, are insane. If you answered no, then you sir/madam have no legs to stand on.
I can't see any good reason why you do this. ("others mmos are doing it" is not a good reason)in addition to supplementing the end-game with extreme battles and other challenging content, we will also reduce the difficulty of the existing high level content at the same time
If the content is fun, people may want to do it again months/years later. Especially in a game where reroll is encouraged.
Are you implying that you don't try to make the content fun? Is it just some clever time sink and you reduce the old time sink when you release new time sink?
And what about the progression curve? Primal hard -> Primal extreme is an obvious progression, but if Primal hard are made easier, the curve is broken.
